We are continuing our work with Multiple Meaning Words (R1.2) and Writing Compoiund Sentence (WOC 1.1)
Additionally, we are going to begin learning about using context clues to figure out meanings of words (R 1.4) and Shades of meaning (degrees of intensity) R 1.5
For writing, we will continue to revise and edit writing(WS 1.6)
This week we are reading Stray on Tuesday and Ta-na-eka on Thursday (you will need your books!)

Literature: Outlines, summaries, notetaking, main idea and details
Writing: We are continuing our Bracelet essay
Study your Spelling words as there is a test this Friday.

We are working on our first project. Students are making a trifold book after researching a state, country and continent. It is due the 28th of September
We will also be working on describing geographic maps and tools.
